About Association For Tourism

AFT (Association for tourism projects are designed to provide on integrated approach to supporting our mission to promote our mission to promote sustainable tourism practices minimize the negative impacts of tourism in various way to land safely while maximizing the benefits to the Nepalese people.

To fulfill its mission statement it was borne with people violence of 2089 (Jan Andolan 2nd). It is non profitable organization which registered with Nepal government C.D.O. office by handful tourism interpreters who used to work at hotels and other tourism fields. Under A.F.T. they could facilitate to the tourists, work together to achieve common goals and also help government for the promotion of tourism in Nepal .In other hand it works to various social fields to built up the concept of modern society.

Eight Key activities are the cornerstone of A.F.T Mission.

I) To bring together with various social services and promote organized efforts for the betterment of the tourism industry of Nepal.

II) To maintain and ensure a sustained supply of the effective and attract tourism programs for the benefit of tourism

III) To provide advisory service to government and lobby when required in formulation and execution of tourist related polices and programs.

IV) To organize trade fairs, exhibitions, seminars and others related program in order to develop the tourist Nationally as well as internationally.

V) To promote relationship and co-operative with other tourism related organizations such as HAN, TAAN,NATA. Etc. To make handshakes and go together to built Nation.

VI) To play outstanding role for protecting for tourism destination and convey them reliable information.

VII) To introduce the tradition and tourist attractive places in Nepal.

VIII) To carry out other functions for the fulfillment of objectives of the Association for torism.

Beside this it has been conducting and participation various activities to achieve its objective since its inception in 1990, some these are regular nature and the rest take place when necessary.
